The recent downturn in the stock market has caused many investors to seek "outside the box" in alternative investments. Not all of these different types of investments can be compiled into your 401k, but worth watching.
PRECIOUS METALS:
One of the most reliable safe havens for their money is precious metals. Gold has long been the standard repository for hiding funds. During the Great Depression, President Roosevelt actually made it illegal to treasure gold because people were buying large quantities of bright material, which hurt the U.S. dollar. The gold is sold at a high premium compared with other metals such as silver and copper. Bad Luck and Trouble is the new Lee Child blockbuster with his alter ego Jack Reacher.
The word is that some of his former unit are in trouble, serious trouble. Worse still, dead. Launched from a helicopter high in the Mojave Desert. Nasty way to die, but someone sends a message? Of course, is sufficient to bring the remaining members of the old brigade back together, back in harness, and in the way of evil. You want to be hunted by wouldnÂ't Jack Reacher, not unless you had a death wish.
After two books for me didnÂ't quite live up to its usual high level, Mister Bad Child luck and Trouble is back in the groove. BLT Unputdownable I found and ran through it. It's a really addictive page, the dialogue is so sharp and realistic than ever, and technical details always come across as on the ground, not that I'm a great expert in firearms. What is the movie posters they say? - Loss - or stunning - or perhaps a "Great. Yes, that about right, theyÂ'll all do for me.
If there is a better writer novel suspense around today that Lee Child Dona't then know who is him or her. IÂ'd like to meet them. If you like the work of Lee Child Jack Reacher and his adventures, then this is an absolute necessity. If Dona't or havenÂ't yet entered into the world of Jack, my impression is that will benefit from this, and still have the catalog youÂ'll sinking back on. Lucky things. I canÂ't wait for the next.
