According to a report published in The New York Times on July 11, the CIA was ordered to conceal a secret program to combat terrorism in Congress for nearly eight years during the Bush administration. This order was issued by former Vice President Dick Cheney. It was considered one of the hardest line in the Bush administration and had favored Controversial water boarding, a method of torture against suspected terrorists detained by the CIA during (the so-called) war on terror.
The list of Bush administration violations of human rights is long, as in cases like Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, prison Bagram, Afghanistan, and others were reported by the media, but there can be no doubt that more and more cases have not been revealed yet.
Looks like we're talking about a Third World State where the voices of the masses are mostly suppressed by the United Nations, the people's governments supported by regional and international powers, with different methods. Steering systems in countries like the United Kingdom and United States are taught in the upper classes in our educational institutions, and in comparison with other systems and also our own unique, often meant to discuss the great power of the people there. Role of masses in the democratic system is not listed as "by the people, the people and for the People." But where are the people in the UK and the U.S. where Today there is public opinion?
Nobody in the Bush administration still has not even asked about the willingness of human rights during his tenure and the war against terrorism. How much the world is safer now after like these?
