Throughout most of the world's coastlines, fishing is very popular rock. Rocky outcrops are perfect places to relax and fish without the hassle of venturing on a boat. Species caught would be small compared to offshore fishing on a boat. But with the front light can be real fun.

Limit versus only 1 or 2 rods. Tackle may vary from one place to another. Usually, a team of 8-12 pound will be able to do the job. If you feel that there are larger specimens around it might be called a 15-25 pounds heavier equipment. You must be prepared to lose to the terminal because snagging fish is common with rock. It may be difficult to make real fish in these rocky areas.

Most fishermen prefer to use dead rock or cutting bait-bait, live bait because it's annoying to manage or to carry along. It will be great if you are able to gather some bait in place.

My favorite is artificial bait, and I find plastic lures soft very effective for this situation. Not a good number of these illusions of good information available on the market. Of which, in particular, are the Rapala storm, Berkley and the Duel Salty Rubber Jig Japan. In fact, the latter was created primarily for use to target bottom dwellers in shallow seas.

Soft plastic lures are less likely to get caught because they have only single hook instead of two treble hooks on most hard body lures. Moreover, not expensive to lose a few that is normal for this type of fishing because of the difficulties still not too bad.

Most rock fishermen fishing the release of the catch not caught. In this situation, it is preferable to use hooks without hebillón for quick and easy release of fish.
