Clear Ghost
"The Lost Book of Nostradamus" was recently broadcast on the History Channel. They are all evil! While sensationalism sells and controversy attracts listeners, History Channel should have done more to balance the commentary on this newly discovered manuscript. While their was a hint of mystical inference in some of comments, most of the so-called 'experts' greatly missed the mark in the interpretation of the text and images on the prophecies of this well known seer.
In a series of several articles I intend to show that the current popular interpretation of the symbols presented in the "Lost Book" are sadly lacking in effectiveness. In doing so, the current buzz around this book have been made by Nostradamus and humanity a great disservice. It is important keep in mind that current interpretations are geared to a comparison of the text to Christian ideology, myths and scriptures. Passing most analysis Comparison of Nostradamus, prophecies of the Bible in general, and revelations in particular, the effort becomes selfish and self-fulfilling.
Nostradamus was a mystic with ties to several secret societies, especially the Rose Cross. In this context, new levels of observation come to light during display of the images contained in the text. As a matter of fact, if one examines the secret symbols of the Rosicrucians, will clearly not only on the eye the intent and meaning of the prophecies of Nostradamus. Moreover, while in the program's commentators made mention of tarot symbols, it is clear that his understanding is not in the esoteric levels. In my co-author of the novel, was introduced "Waking God," the concept of a Tarot Code. The book is a mystical dealt with as a spiritual thriller and states that the Tarot has roots in the images of samples that preceded the Assyrian Empire and has been brought forward in the modern era. These symbols provide a pictorial history of human evolution, as well as clues, or prophecies about our future. These symbols are found in almost every civilization and yet are understood by few.
Contrary to the information and assumptions made in the release of The History Channel, the symbols of Nostradamus beyond the images often touted by biblical scholars as messages of doom and the end of the world. Perhaps the only real accurate statement on the show that was symbol related is that the prophecies give clues about the Apocalypse. But even here, it is important to remember that the Revelation, the term "does not mean World's End. The revelation of the word means "to discover knowledge revealed 'and not Armageddon or the destruction of the physical world. The apocalypse term has been hijacked by religious dogma to frighten unsuspecting followers into believing that all prophecies that have to do with the word apocalypse support his idea that One day, God will destroy his creation, and only the faithful will survive. The apocalypse of Nostradamus agreements with the "end of the lie, not the end of the times. "
The more details are presented in the following articles, it should be understood that the true and inner meaning behind the words concerns humanity's spiritual awakening Nostradamus. The prophecies are a light pole intended to guide humanity towards a new era of spirituality that lacks dogma and founded upon the notion of spiritual enlightenment. The same is true of the much misunderstood Book of Revelations. The accuracy of his predictions serves to underscore the fact that he knew that the benchmarks would be achieved as humanity travels on its path of evolution. He was to show people that hard choices must done if, indeed, hope to avoid our own destruction. He was alerting humanity to the ideas that our choices are leading to such things as environmental collapse, social and political life, unless we change our thinking. His warnings were meant to divert the catastrophe rather than suggesting that such catastrophe is inevitable. The purpose of a person do not go saying that a safe road because the bridge has collapsed is not predicting his death, ie to prevent her death.
In future articles I will show that the serpents and dragons in the images of Nostradamus are representative of evil or the devil. The female images are not on the Women trying to become Pope. The Tower of destruction is not the end of the world. The images of apparent clashes between Muslims and Christians do not predict inevitable religious wars. The symbols of Nostradamus and the Tarot not refer to an anti-Christ. Throughout the history of religious biblical texts, taken out of context, have been used to justify all sorts of crime and injustice. The prophecies of Nostradamus are another voice crying in the wilderness of human history compels us to change our ways and enter a period of great enlightenment. Applies to modern interpreters of these messages fall into the trap of old age religion and use these words of wisdom to frighten humanity into a set of self-fulfilling prophecies.

He worked on a White House Task Force for the development of a National Rural Policy and later served as Rural Policy Coordinator at the Federal Regional Council of New England. He has worked on gubernatorial and senatorial political campaigns and currently works in Special Education.
