Brook Trout
The nicest thing about catching brook trout are usually the places where you get to fish for them. Watercourses in many cases, brook trout are common in the mountains that do not contain other types of trout. Is this always true? No, of course not, brook trout can also be found in Rainbow River favorite, it's just that brook trout are more common in mountain streams. Compared with other trout, including rainbow, brook trout are much smaller. Among the major species of trout, brook trout are the smallest. What they lack in size they make for the beauty, of which you think about it, is a kind of how God seems to work.
In any event, the brook trout are by far the most beautiful of all trout. Their colors are great (especially during the spawning season). As I said they are not as big as some trout, but if you use ultra light fishing gear, are still a lot of fun to catch. Walking along a secluded mountain stream, the capture of "brookie" and having all that nature has to offer is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
I continue to elude the brook trout to be small and it is true. In most situations, a Brook Trout 12-15 cm would be a real trophy. However, there are some gaps in Labrador where brook trout grow to incredible sizes. I'm talking about Brook Trout in the range of 10 pounds! These trout are incredible, and probably worth it if you ever have the chance. The Labrador brook trout are a marvel of nature, to be sure.
So what is the best way to catch a brook trout stream housing? The best way is the way God wants. With live bait. Live worms rigged a set of # 8 or # 10 gang hooks to be exact. The gang of hooks to help engage short brook trout strike. The bite of a brook trout is very similar to "tap, tap, tap" that you have more than likely that experience with other small fish.
Take your ultra light gear, a bag of worms bait, a set of pre-tied gang hooks, and yourself and go out and enjoy some brook trout fishing. These trout are easy to catch, and as I said, found in some of the most wonderful places you can imagine. Get out there and have a good time, and maybe you take a true trophy of 14 inches!
