Foot Seeker

As we grow, we do stumble, lurch forward then back, sometimes more like the clowns of applicants.
Winston Churchill wrote: "Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time it will take itself and continue as if nothing had happened."
We humans, in the pursuit of success and happiness, have several great loves. One of these is love discovering new things. New places ... new people ... new ideas ... fascinate us.
We also love finding new ways to solve problems. If we have been suffering the indignities and inconveniences of a long-standing problem, We have an insatiable desire to find what is causing the trouble and fix it.
Unfortunately, a drive just as strong in our psyche is the obligation to keep things change.
We love the variety and change, but we also love predictability. When things start to change in our world, it feels uncomfortable, uncertain, not knowing what to do next.
So with the left foot to strike out to seek change, while at the same time, the foot pulls right behind us, trying with all his strength to remain planted in one place.
Often, as Churchill points out, we follow blindly that desire to maintain the status quo. Why? Well, it's the same reason that we continue to do anything automatically - habit.
So how break the grip of habit? How to escape the gravity and inertia?
It's the same way that any change of habit.
First step: be fully aware of what we are doing. No custom can function properly when we draw the curtains of the lack of attention.
Have you had an understanding about you or the way you live your life? Maybe you do not want to stop moving away and are lost to you, just as many achievements have been made before.
Then make a big production of it. Fix your attention on it. Roll it in your mind, play with it and explore its implications.
Do not let old habits steal the treasure he has found.
And that's exactly how you can stop tripping over the truth and then move on like it never happened.
